The Goddess Factor

There is a saying that when an artist is kissed by a muse, it is then he truly becomes one with his work, and creates his best.I think my muse ,has been my alter ego Aldebaran. As a lover of the celtic mythos, she was inspired by the song Aldebaran by Enya's first album The Celts, which has been my introduction to the world of Celtic music. It wasn't until years later that my muse Aldebaran came to me, in the form of a half elven warrior, during my rpging days before I become,a wife, and mother. The creation was there but needed that essential spark to truly bring her to life.It wasn't until my hubby introduced me to Conquer Online, (which he regrets now ),that I created her as a mage, and then she truly began to come to life for me. Being a doll collector,I have been searching for the perfect doll, that epitomizes my lovely muse, but so far the ones I saw ,were too static, too stiff, and just weren't capable of the full range of movement that I desired in a doll. It wasn't until a few people started posting pictures of BJDs ( resin balljointed dolls) on a doll board I frequent, that something awoke inside me. At last, here was a doll that was capable of the full range of movement that I longed for but the faces did not call to me.So I continued to wait, and watch out for new dolls coming out,to find the right one that said Aldebaran to me.In the meantime, I had fallen for one of smaller more child like dolls; though she would not be my lovely muse, she would be loved nonetheless.I await her arrival with a great anticipation, and hopefully while getting to know her, I will find my muse in future offerings,as more companies are coming out with their own versions of these resin angels that seem to touch a part of your soul in their own way.
