THE SEARCH FOR ALDEBARAN
After looking through numerous pics of Ball Jointed dolls,and trying to find the right sculpt: I decided to try and take the image of how I envisioned Alde,and see if I couldn't find a sculpt to match her.As Alde is a very important character to me,I want to do right by her ,and find her perfect shell, in which to house her spirit. Being that this is a closest I could get to her appearance wise; her personality is like quicksilver.
She has dark wine red hair,with a ruby shine ,when the light hits it ,and eyes of darkest blue,that remind a person of a star sapphire.She has white skin,and deep rose lips;with a shape that is slender,yet strong.The main problem I 'm finding is that most of the sculpts are too young looking ,and don't really have that look, in the eyes ,that speaks of maturity;a look that says " I have seen all that the world has to offer, I have experienced love, loss, bitterness,and joy "
Even if I could find a sculpt,that has the look of maturity to it ,it's trying to get all the other pieces together to make her come alive.

WINTER WONDERLAND
After watching the snow fall here over the last week or so, it inspired me to create this hat ,and muff for Heather out of faux fur.My first attempt wasn't so great ,as I had used fleece ,and faux fur to make it.It was huge on her,but she loved it anyway.So today I decided to try,and make another,which turned out better,but a little more patience was involved.She promptly tried it on,which fit much better,than the first.Now ,I need to make her a long coat,and find some boots for her before she is
ready to go out.

Here she is in the first hat ,I made.It doesn't look as good as the second,but this pic really shows off her pretty forest green eyes.
