Here is Heather in the first dress I made her.Still needs some work ing the fitting,but considering I've never made anything for BallJointed dolls before,I think I did ok.The dress is made from bright pink broadcloth,and if I had sense I would have made a mock up first. Ah well; live and learn.Any way it's a basic bodice,and skirt pattern that I put together into a short dress.

SUMMER DAYDREAMS
I caught Heather sitting rather quietly beside me with her bear Sir Edward,looking rather wistful.
Me: What are you thinking so hard about?
Heather: Oh nothing...just daydreaming
M: about...?
H: summer,or there of .
M: I know, it seems to have passed quite quickly hasn't it?
H: Yeah...also remembering my time at the Summer Court; it seemed to last forever there.
M: I can imagine.Do you miss it?
H:Sometimes; I think I miss my friends there the most though. I often lie awake wondering if they are ok,or if they miss me.
M:I 'm sure they do;you have been together a long time.
H:I suppose....
M: ( Changing the subject rather quickly) So are you looking forward to starting school?
H: ( Brightening up ) Oh yes, very much so.Although Uncle Llew has taught me much, there is sooo much,I've yet to learn.
M: Well take your time ,honey.Don't burn yourself out trying to cram it all in at once. You have a lifetime to learn; so enjoy it as it happens.
H: Ok, I'll remember that...so are you making me more clothes? *giggle*
M:I'm working on honey; remember I have two others I need to make clothes for.
H:Oh ..
M: Don't worry ,you will get some pretty things too.
H: OHhh thank you.
M:We also need get you some more hair accessories, to keep your hair out
of your eyes .
H:*brushes a strand of hair out of her eyes*
M: AND new shoes ....hmmmm..
H: What? What? WHAT?!
M: Considering you're almost a young lady now;how would you like a manicure,and pedicure ?
H:** SHRIEKKK** You mean get my nails painted like the big girls?!
M: yes
H: YES!
M: Would you like to say Hi to everyone on Zone of Zen?
H: *blink blinK* What should I say?
M: A simple hi ,will be a good start.
H: ohh..ok

H: Hello,My name is Heather ,and I'm pleased to meet you all!!
H: * whispers* Is that good?
M: That's fine .

This is Heather with her new set of eyes which I put in monthes ago but just haven't time to take pictures of.So far this is one of the better pics I took inside; have to take her out,and get better pics in natural light.The earrings,and underdress were made by me; just something I threw together so she had something to wear. Though I haven't had a chance to play with her,just seeing her sweet face makes me smile.It's been several monthes since I got her but I've never really felt this happy with other dolls,as I do with her.She's my little resin sweetheart.
